Marketing Manager - Bounty Hunter Wine & Spirits

Job Description

The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing national and regional marketing programs and promotions across a variety of premium and luxury brands in the wine, spirits, and artisanal food categories. The Marketing Manager will oversee strategic marketing projects including planning and execution of the Catalog, conduct regular business and ad hoc financial analysis, manage key partner relationships, and assist the team with new content creation in both the physical and digital space. The successful candidate will be naturally curious, passionate about brand building and storytelling, highly entrepreneurial, and fearless in the face of constant change. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. In conjunction with the Marketing Director, develop strategic product plans designed to leverage all aspects of the marketing mix (wine, spirits, food).
  2. Utilize data-based insights to identify key market opportunities and then develop strategic innovation plans to achieve objectives.
  3. Manage all aspects of the company’s core Catalog strategy from conception through publication and final distribution.
  4. Conduct regular business analysis (promotional forecasting and post analysis, pricing and ROI analysis, purchasing/product trends, inventory assessments, competitive reviews)
  5. Manage a variety of projects in tandem with competing priorities and defined budgets.
  6. Help to develop and execute strategic plans that align products and messaging with specific audiences and maintain balance between selection, profitability, inventory turnover, and revenue growth in the Direct Marketing space.
  7. Develop and execute targeted promotional programs and initiatives to attract new customers and keep existing customers entertained, engaged, and buying.  
  8. Develop content strategies for attracting new customers through, but not limited to, blog, CMS pages, audio content, video reviews and interviews, video content, etc.
  9. Personally develop and uphold excellent, productive partnerships with all internal departments including marketing, finance, sales, purchasing and logistics.
  10. Able to effectively guide, develop, and mentor people and talent

  • All visual, audio, and written content always meets brand messaging and quality standards.

  • Marketing Coordinator

Qualifications:

      •  
  • CPG or Alcohol Beverage industry experience in a marketing role
  • Developed analytical skills, strong comfort level with excel spreadsheets (formulas, vlookups etc) 
  • Experience using syndicated / other data sources to identify trends and gaps and extract key insights
  • Experience with luxury products and / or artisan fine foods
  • Strong wine industry knowledge, WSET, CMS, CSW preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; speaking, writing, able to advocate for ideas and effect change 
  • Experience managing external vendors, agencies
  • Knowledge of ERP systems - NetSuite preferred
  • Strong PC skills (MS Office Suite), Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign preferred)
